Another week, another fantastic TNRS on the horizon. This week, our readers are current student C.S. Carrier and alumna Laura Ellen Scott. Bios are included below if you need some convincing (but we know TNRS itself is enough of a draw, so who needs convincing!):
C. S. Carrier's first book, After Dayton, was published by Four Way Books in 2008. His poems have appeared in numerous journals including American Letters & Commentary, Dusie, Little Red Leaves, Pleiades, and Verse. He has work forthcoming in Indefinite Space and Upstairs at Duroc. He is the recipient of a 2011 Artist Fellowship from the Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism. He lives in Lafayette and Clarksville, AR.
Laura Ellen Scott teaches fiction writing at George Mason University in Fairfax Virginia. She was in the UL-L masters program in the late 80s. She is the author of the novel Death Wishing and a collection called Curio, both of which were published in 2011. She is also the new series editor for the Wigleaf Top 50.
Jefferson Street Pub, 7pm, Thursday. Be there.
